Short and Sweet

It’s official, fall is finally here! I love fall, it’s my favorite season! The colors, the fashion, and of course, it’s a great reminder that the holidays are right around the corner. But when you live in Alabama, where the beginning of fall still feels a lot like summer, you still have a chance to show a little leg.

Here I paired an olive blazer with a pair of distressed denim shorts. I’m obsessed with olive green right now. This color is definitely going to be a big trend this fall. Of course, you can never go wrong with a blazer. A good blazer is a must have for me. It’s a staple piece that can easily be dressed up or down.

For those of us who are a little extra blessed in the thigh department, choosing the right length when it comes to shorts is very important. Too short, and your thighs rub together and well, let’s be honest, that can turn into a big uncomfortable mess that no one wants to experience. I tend to steer more towards bermuda shorts. They’re usually just the right length so I don’t experience any rubbing. In the event that they are too long, you can always pull out the scissors and cut them up to your liking to get the distressed look.

I’m loving this taste of fall so far, and I can’t wait to explore more of this year’s fall fashion trends!
