One of my New Year’s resolutions is to focus more on skincare. Now, I don’t have awful problems with my skin. But the goal is to keep it that way. So I want to start the new year off with a regimen to make sure I’m doing everything I can to keep my face and skin looking young and fresh.
I’ve dabbled in face masks before, experimenting with both higher and lower end products. I really like these Freeman brand face masks that I picked up from my local Walmart.
I like these masks because you can purchase specific masks to suit your skin type. As someone with oily skin, I need a good face mask to absorb any excess oil and prevent unwanted shine and potential acne. I recently did the Manuka Honey and Tea Tree Oil Clay Mask and Cleanser (pictured in the middle). It’s formulated for oily skin types, and it left my skin feeling super smooth and clean without drying it out. To top it off, the smell was very relaxing and made spa night at home feel even more authentic!
You can purchase these samples sizes for about two bucks each. I think that makes it easier when you’re trying them out to see which mask best suits your needs. Once you find the mask that you like best, you can purchase the full size product for around $4. While there a some higher end face mace masks that I really do enjoy, these are definitely a great alternative to those that run around $40 for three ounces of product.
These will definitely be added to my favorites list for 2019. We’re off to a good start!
