NYX Mineral Stick Foundation | First Impression

I’ve been in the market for a good foundation stick for a while now. I was looking for something that would stay matte throughout the day (because I have ridiculously oily skin), something that blends easily, and most importantly, something that wouldn’t break the bank. Well, I’ve got to say, I think I found it!

Once I tested these in the store and felt how creamy they were ? I knew that they would be perfect to highlight and contour with. NYX has a really good shade selection for the foundation sticks with 15 different shades to choose from. I have them in the shades Caramel, for highlighting, and Cocoa, for my contour.

I’m in love with these foundation sticks!!! They’re so creamy and buildable. They’re super easy to blend whether you use a brush or a beauty blender. While the finish is more on the dewy side, the amount of shine I experienced was nothing out of the ordinary. Once I set my face, my makeup stayed pretty matte for the majority of the day. To top it off, they only cost ten bucks a pop!

The NYX Mineral Foundation Sticks were a great find, and have been an excellent addition to my makeup routine!
