Fall & Winter Fashion Coats

The temperature has definitely dropped! To be honest, I’m here for it! Fall and winter are my favorite seasons. I love playing with layers and styling fall accessories. And let’s face it, when your coat is the focal point of your outfit, it makes finding something to wear so much easier! I’ve linked some of my favorite cold weather coat options in this post for you. Here are a few tips on how I would style some of them!

1. Dress Coats

I like to pull out my dress coats for special occasions. They’re perfect for an effortlessly glam look! Dress coats pair great with an LBD, tights and pumps, or something as simple as a turtleneck, leggings/jeans, and tall boots.

2. Teddy Coats

Teddy coats have become quite the cold weather staple. I think they’re very versatile and I love the variety of styles in which you can find them. They’re just fun, and more importantly, they’re warm! I’d opt for a longer version for work paired with a fitted midi skirt or cigarette leg trousers, pumps, and a sweater. A shorter cropped version easily pairs with jeans and combat boots, heeled ankle boots, or even sneakers for a more casual look.

3. Trench Coats

Ah, the classic trench coat. It’s always trendy and you can style it with almost anything! I find that trench coats pair well with most workwear. Throw it on with a boatneck top, ankle pants, and loafers, or skinny jeans and ankle boots, and you’re all set!
