L’Oréal Lips

At this point in the season, I’m sure everyone is already rocking their bold vampy lippies. If you’re not, you should be! I’m not ashamed to say that I tend to reach for vampy colors year round. They’re my fave! I recently ran across these by L’Oréal and decided to give them a try.

I picked up the L’Oréal Paris Makeup Rouge Signature Matte Lip Stains in the colors I Dare (dark brown/burgundy) and I Enjoy (deep berry). These colors are so rich and velvety! I fell in love the moment it touched my lips! Since they are stains, I apply at least three coats. But I’m also very extra…sue me.

Now I’ve always been very meticulous about selecting the perfect red lipstick for my skin tone. I have always shied away from orange and blue based reds, and gravitated more towards brown and burgundy based reds. MAC’s Diva has always been my go-to. That’s why I was so surprised that I loved the L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Matte Lipstick in the color Doesn’t Matte-R. On my lips, it comes across as a very true, almost blue based, red. And I’m not mad at it at all!!!
